Is MayiStay really free?+
Yes. Every feature is free while we grow the renter database. There is no credit card requirement. Subscriptions will launch later; early adopters will be grandfathered with a discount.
Who can see the reviews I submit?+
Any verified host can search the renter database. Your name is never shown alongside reviews — only the renter's structured performance score and the aggregated criteria.
How is the performance score calculated?+
Each review starts with an overall 1–5 star rating. If a renter is rated below 5 stars, the host also rates four areas — Payments, House Rules, Maintenance & Cleanliness, and Communications — and those are averaged into a cumulative score shown to two decimals (for example, 4.68 stars). A renter's overall rating is the cumulative average across all of their reviews.
Renter Control — what control does a renter have to change a review made by mistake or in dispute?+
To answer a dispute, MayiStay will review all submitted and available evidence. After reviewing all the evidence, the owner/managing partner of MayiStay along with a 3-person panel will review the submitted evidence from both parties and make a decision. The decision made will be final. If necessary the rating will be removed altogether, or it will be allowed to stand depending on which side prevails. The guest can request that their information in the system be made inactive from this point forward if so desired.
Can I integrate MayiStay with Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com?+
Yes. Settings → Integrations lets you connect each platform and pull guests into MayiStay automatically.
